Easy Japanese

Julia pointed out This article in the Japan Times to me. I’m not sure what I think of this. Is it good that the Japanese Gov’t is acknowledging that there are in fact non-Japanese that live in their country? Or is it bad that they automatically assume that they won’t be able to understand any Japanese? Sometimes seems vaguely off about this to me, but I’m not sure what it is.

The bottom line is that it’s hard to go wrong with a year when it starts with the new Tokyo Jihen album. Like most of the noble internet citizenry, I have a variety of goals, both electronic and non-, but at the moment I am pleased, thrilled really, to be occupied with my Education.
